Nice and detailed info. But Application submission time is from 9 AM to 4 PM. After 4 PM they don't receive PP. So better to get there in early.

Thanks a lot. Your guidance helped a lot. I have asked the bank to extend the limit and I at last could pay the fee online. Thanks again

Dual currency credit card will do for that matter?

Just curious to know, what is the current average waiting time after medical request?

Alhamdulillah! Submitted passports recently.
Now i have a couple of queries.

1. What are the things (apart from documents) i should take along with me. People have suggested things like kitchen appliances and utensils, also small electronic gadgets i.e. hair dryer, iron. Seemed funny but then I thought why buy them again? ::)

2. I have a three year old son, not going to school now. Need a preschool for him. My husband and I are from marketing background, I am working in a superstore as senior manager here. So keeping these in mind, which area should we consider while selecting the house.

3. Any idea about how much money to take with us to survive the initial months?

4. Any idea about the bridging programs?

5. what sort of and how many cloths to take? it might sound funny but i want to know would you suggest to fill the luggage with heavy winter cloths or buy there? in any case i have to buy at least a started set for each of us. Footwear?

6. How do i take my DSLR camera and laptop there?

A lot more questions to ask...please help!

Yes that is general format for 12 months Visa validity reason Visa office asked for 12 months passport validity but fact is visa will be valid based on Medical expire.

You have done your medical on mid July so your visa valid will be in mid July but your passport will expire on Dec. So that you have enough time and Visa office will not ask you for the timing for their basic requirement.

So my suggestion would to submit your current passport and prepare your landing preparation before July.

best of luck.

Hi shamrajjo bhai
I also submitted pp to vfs global on 7th dec. I think I saw you. probably you were wuth ur spouse and one kid if I am not wrong

Hi bro,
Unfortunately you were wrong.
I went there alone at around 12.30PM and within 10 mints my job was done there.

I have two kids and they were at school.

However we may meet at Canada in future.

;D ;D

Hi! I am new member of this group. I want to immigrate to Canada. I am Mechanical Engineer and got EMBA from USTC. I am having 6+ years experience.
I and my spouse are planning for IELTS and ECA. Do you have any suggestion for me?

Dear All!

Salam!

I just want to know which currency will be better for a Bangladeshi PR recipient who will be moving to Canada along with his family considering the exchange rate and acceptance in Canada in the coming 3 months? Eg.: USD, British Pound, Canadian Dollar etc.

And what should be best mode of carrying the money? Eg.: Hundi, Cash, Bank draft, Pay order, Demand draft etc.

Thank you for wish. PPR is last stage but in mail mentioned your visa is not granted. I have submitted our passport on 11th of December. Feeling tense.
