Oh sorry, I thought you mentioned 5 months in total. Yes, you would need PCC from FBI, before applying for PR, since CIC calculate all your stays.

1. I would definitely wait for 2 weeks. It will make the process so smooth. 2. In your case, I wouldn't suggest to apply for PCC now, since it takes about 3-4 months to get US PCC from FBI. Once you have filed your application for PR, then apply for US PCC, just incase CIC request later on...

Wait for 2 more weeks and you will get an invite to apply for PR.
