Hello,

So I have just put my profile up and registered with job bank. I plan to live in Ontario, as that is where I am based right now. I am a line cook, trained at George Brown College, and on the job and my employer constantly says he needs me. Will the fact that a positive LMIA is unlikely, I'm assuming that my chances of acceptance are non-existent, cause a rejection for my application? I've tried googling any success stories, similar to mine, but none. Does anyone here know of anyone who was successful through CEC without a "valid job offer"? Please help!

Hi acburns,
What are your CRS points? There are many CEC applicants without valid job offer (as you already looked up correctly, valid job offer means positive LMIA). I assume "just put my profile up" means you created an EE profile, correct? So it all depends on the next draw and your points if you receive an ITA.
Good luck

Thank you for your reply. I have 434 points. Apparently that was the lowest number from the last draw. Yes my profile is active right now

Wait for 2 more weeks and you will get an invite to apply for PR.
