In 19 days my medical will expire and not a word in English from CIC. So I guess I'll have to find another $200 for medical redo. This is really heartless friends. It's heartless. The immigration minister tweets regularly. We can follow him. He might no be aware of how dumb his call centre...

@Victorswife Touching! Touching is all I can say about it! Should we believe that they're issuing approvals to other folks but coincidentally those of us in this forum haven't heard anything? I say it over and over again and I will not retract; this government doesn't give a damn about...

@Mistahfixit You don't need an Option C form. Just a letter of employment is fine. Remember the checklist is generic and not everything will apply to you. If you have t4 slips, send them too. We just had an employment letter and it was quite fibe

@ntonchu Those people at the call centre have intellectual diarrhea. They can't answer simple questions. normally when you call other service call centres before hanging up they'd ask you if you need anything else;but CIC agents disconnect the call before u can say thank you

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

@krissikris Where did u see it? Was it under sponsor's ecas or applicant? If its under sponsors, then it means sponsors approval but they must have just updated it since you got AIP. Besides, they'd not give applicant a decision until dependents are approved. That's what I think but CIC might...

@screech Happy to know that you had a great weekend. I didn't have such a good holiday because as soon I got dressed to go and have some fun I got a call from Jamaica that my friend died in a tragic car accident. And what hurts me more is that I won't be able to attend the funeral and to hug...

@Jolly But our files are not with Ottawa. They're at Vegreville so that's where the enquiries would've been necessary I think. I think me and you'll be hearing something the same day

Hey ladies and gentleman, what's the relevance of Ottawa in the progress of our applications at Vegreville? Why are inquiries made through Ottawa if its not the CPC?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

@Psalms91 Would you mind if I ask if you have dependents outside the country or how long you've been married or met? I asked because all of these factors determine the length of your processing time somewhat. I called CIC this morning and they told me that background checks are ordered even...
