@sierra I'd do myself a huge favour by calling CIC to ensure that you don't need a medical. If they don't request a medical from you by their error they'll want you to assume the blame because thwyre gonna argue that medical is required for immigrating to Canada. It'll only cost you more time...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

@Screech I think sierra is speaking about DM under sponsor and not applicant. As far as I'm concerned, a background check is the only thing waived under immigration laws because of some applicant's minor age. All applicants must undergo medical examination. It's mandatory regardless of age

@gold moon So I take it that mine will too since we have the same timeline. It's a heartless situation. This government is heartless to prospective citizens

@UKZippy I agree with what you're saying. However, do you reasonably believe that the inhumane waiting period for AIP is a desperate bid for CIC to catch up with fraudsters? It's a kind of immature belief

I called CIC awhile ago and when the agent asked me when my application was submitted she didn't even bother to check my file. She said call back a month's time

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes. May I also ease to say that it seems as though CIC is currently issuing decisions on overdue and applications. My girl here at my party is celebrating as she just received an email of DM and a landing date of August 14 at the same time. She's in...

I love to check the CIC websites on Thursdays because its becoming hilarious to see how they are limping on October 8th. Its approaching 20 weeks. The last time they updated it moved from October 5th to 8th. So maybe they'll move another 3 days and stuck there again. ;D ;D :D :D ;D

@QuebecoOkie If we are gonna get both stages at once I have no worries waiting til my one year come October because that'd balance the wait for an 8 month stage 2. I do believe though that the applications are already assessed. Why? If they were gonna transfer them without AIP it would have...
