Short of year experience by 2 weeks.

Sadly, it has to be exactly 1 year (52 weeks) or more ---- and your foreign experience has to be continuous - that is, two periods of employment separated by a small gap of unemployment would not be considered 1 year of continuous experience.

Abdul is right, I was told the same when I called them in January (sort of expected a 'stock response', but I got them to take a look at my GCMS notes :D). It's been the standard response for a couple of months now. Congrats!

    1. Not if you have received an MR. If it's upfront, scan and email the e-medical info sheet, along with your UCI and application #. 2. You are going to receive an RCMP certificate in mail. Once you get a request from CIC, either email or snail mail it to CIC - they'll tell you what to do.

Query about the 1 year experience

So... here's the good news: you don't have to work 1 more year - because your Canadian experience does NOT have to be continuous! Here's the bad news: you still need to work a bit more (1 week?) to have a year of eligible experience under your belt.

This ECAS status is very confusing, please help!

Thanks. :) If CPC says everything is fine, you have nothing to worry about. If it ever turned out to be an issue, you have all the evidence on your side -- CPC confirmed they don't require anything else from you after getting to know you haven't received their letter. You can find more details...

This ECAS status is very confusing, please help!

Have you tried contacting CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic . gc . ca? Let them know that you have not received anything in mail. Once CPC is aware of it, not having responded to the mail - whatever it is - would not jeopardize your application.
