The touristic visa is good for 6 months. We heard that we can renew the touristic visa from here. So he will stay here as long as we dont have news from Damascus. Then, we will probably travel together to get the PR in Syria and visit family and friends in the same time in Lebanon :)

I sent it by mail (post) and email. In the email, I wrote that the original copy was sent by mail to the embassy in Damascus.

You right, I think that only Damascus office sents RQ. I have a friend who sponsored her husband from Fiji (via Australia) and she never heard about RQ.

They sent me an email saying that i have to fill the questionnaire (in attachment) within 30 days blablabla and that i should not contact the embassy in lebanon but the one in Damascus if i have any request.

After reading this, I feel that the gouvernment just doesnt care about familial reunification. They want qualified workers immigrants, and accept less sponsorised immigrants... How can they reject sponsorship demands? Why 36 months process in some countries and only 4 months in some others? ::)
