Did you get a sense of why they're still waiting. Maybe they're the few flagged for SS? From what I've gathered that's about the only thing worse than marked RR unless you're marked for both.

Sounds like something could have been marked Review Required. Have you ordered/received GCMS notes? Might be in your interest to do so if you haven't yet. If there is a pinch point you may be able to take some proactive steps to resolve it.

They've broken my will too. I was just going through the motions. I've had more positive visa experiences with America's USCIS and they're not exactly a crack team of professionals implementing an efficient and effective system.

Does IRCC publish any sort of annual report with detailed information on how long they spend processing cases? I'd be curious to know what percentage go beyond 7 months, 8 months etc.
