Do you guys count from when CIC receives the medicals or from when ECAS updates? My medicals were received (confirmed by CIC) on 1st of August but just last Sunday did it update online.

I wouldn't worry about ECAS system too much. It says on mine "Application received" and "Medicals received" but no "in process" so their updating isn't consistent.

CIC and my local DMP office confirmed sending/receiving the medical results but the ECAS system hasn't updated yet. I didn't receive the Biodata/RPRF email either.

Also add information that may explain possible issues with your application if you have any. That will make the visa officer's job much easier.

I read somewhere on this forum someone getting rejected after 10 months.. so there is really no way of telling.

Yes, if we have learnt anything by now it's that the order is totally random. You got applicants from 2013 getting their MRs before some in July or August 2012. I'm a November applicant and I got my MR earlier this month. Just have to be steadfast and patient.

Just updated the tracker. Does that time frame for ECAS updates also include emedicals? My NOC code is 2221 and the visa office is Ottawa. No I still didn't received the RPRF and Biodata request yet. Hopefully soon though!

I also received medicals, yahoo7. Had issues with the doctor appointment but was able to do them on the 11th. I think my medicals should be received by the end of this week. Any idea how reliable/fast the ECAS system is when it comes to updating the status to medicals received?

You have to undergo the tests within 60 days from getting the request.

e-medicals take 2-3 weeks to upload? How about the regular medicals?
