Canada post only works on business days and since this is a long weekend you'll probably have to wait till Tuesday.

Did you contact CIC in any way after you sent your passport?

Try calling them. That's what I'd do if my passport doesn't come by end of next week.

Did you send the docs from somewhere else besides Canada?

I'm guessing for those whose passports were received on the 23rd will either get their tracker activated this evening or on Tuesday. Hopefully we get our passports before the end of next week!

I told them that I noticed the list of duties and responsibilities wasnt sufficient so attached is an updated letter. I hope you can take it into consideration. When I looked at my GCMS notes, they said that based on the reference letter after lock-in date (which means the updated one), work...

I sent an updated reference letter because I didn`t feel I had enough duties and responsibilities and they considered it. Infact, I`m in the final stages of the process. So send anyway, it might really help your application!

Hey guys, As you probably heard the news, the US gov just shut down. Will this affect crossing the border during landing? God, I hope not!

I haven't received a confirmation email either but looking at the forum, I think they don't reply to emails at this stage so we just have to wait. I'd only email if it's been more than a month (again looking at the average time on the tracker).

Hey guys, I know this is a silly question but just want to confirm: when the trackers are updated its the present time in Ottawa, yeah? Because they seem to go on around the same time.

I don't think landing can be done at the airport because I know someone who wanted to do the landing at the airport (not alberta) and they were told that they have to leave the country or book an appointment with the immigration officer. But hey maybe other provinces are different?

I also sent them an email on Monday (when I saw the successful delivery update on canada post) and haven't received a response yet. I wouldn't worry too much about it for now. Maybe after 15 days or so I'll email back.
