I dont think its needed for Switzerland to show a police certificate anyway. Its a plus of course but not needed. (Correct me if im wrong).

I dont think you would be a risk for the country anyway, its not like you could overstay or something, you still have a visa that allows you to stay on the territory legally.

Are you saying that they give more refusal for people that apply to colleges? I am trying to apply for a college (from switzerland) cause i cant apply for university since i do not have any diplomas from post secondary school

If you wish to apply for September 2016 then you still have time..I think you can apply as late as mid/end of june

Oh ok thanks for the answer. I talked to my immigration consultant and he said i can submit the application for the visa even though i didnt get the clearance and send it later on.

It says the process for visa for my country is up to 5 weeks...Hopefully the clearance arrives in time...

Hello, I sent my request for the FBI clearance from Switzerland today...it says on the FBI website that it takes aprox. 13-16 weeks to process. The thing is, i want to apply for September 2016 and i know i will have to submit the full application including the clearance..Will it be too late to...

Try craigslist and say that you are overseas. They shouldnt ask for money before you see the place or sign the lease anyway. If they do its a scam.
