Seems to be around four weeks from AOR to MEP for FSW right now. Mine has just been over 3 weeks now, hoping for something next week.

3-5 years of experience is really the sweet spot, from what I've heard from my acquaintances there. You probably won't need to take a step down in terms of seniority with that experience. While those with 6+ would probably need to settle for maybe one rung lower in the ladder when they 'restart'...

I agree with what others have said as well. 1123 will likely find a job faster than 0124. Less experience will also be helpful, as that implies less baggage to shed and organizations will be keener to hire. In my case, I have 11 yrs of work ex with 8 of that in the same industry. It will take...

I think it depends on the type of job as well. If we are talking about IT jobs etc, I doubt there's going to be any discernible effect. Techies will continue to be in high demand. If I were to consider my NOC, 0124, I think there will be more difficulty in finding a new job from scratch...

Trudeau's throne speech strongly indicates that immigration will continue unabated, as is logical for a country that desperately needs immigrants.

Received the refund btw. OINP is a very responsive and professional setup to deal with, from my experience with them.

I just uploaded the jpeg image of the digital photo that I received from the studio. What I’ve understood is that the back details bit was a requirement from the paper application era and not really relevant for an online submission. Make sure the jpeg fits the required size and pixels.

Good luck! I’d been prepared with the documents for a very very long time :D Hence the swift submission.

Once you finish all the information forms and continue to the next page, all the document upload requests would pop up. Good luck!

The 5 Wednesday thingy is not a definite rule; sometimes it happens like that. So again, wait and watch works well for you right? If September 30 is FST, you can immediately apply to OINP.

If you are under no time pressure to apply, you could choose to wait and see. There’s a good chance there’ll be an all programs draw on Sep 30th and you’d likely get an invite. If that doesn’t happen, you can consider the NOI.

Yes I have sent them a request. Not quite sure I'll get it, but doesn't hurt to ask.

Got an ITA on Wednesday, submitted the application yesterday and immediately received the AOR. 17-month long twisty path from 463 to 458 to 466 to 474 finally reached a waypoint. Hopefully no more drama till the finish line :) Good luck to everybody here waiting for an ITA!

Mine moved to assessment yesterday. They had sent an ADR on Monday saying they couldn't find my EE profile in the pool, asking me to check if it expired or if I got an ITA. I replied with a screenshot of the profile, and the next day the application moved to Assessment. NOI: August 26 (NOC...

Yup, mine moved to Assessment as well the next day! But I still don't know why my profile appeared invalid to them. My job seeker code and profile number were both correct. I just sent a screenshot confirming the existence of my profile and they moved the application to Assessment.
