471 was the stabilizing point (where inflow of candidates equaled invites sent every two weeks) pre covid with 3900 invites. EE demand has been continuously increasing over the last two years, and the stabilizing score would only go up unless they increase the number of invites. So last month...

Thanks for the clarification! If it needs to be done it needs to be done I suppose.

Another doubt regarding this please @legalfalcon. Is there any possibility they'll ask for an updated PCC due to the address change? When I submitted my application, I had submitted a South Africa PCC dated August (within the 6 months requirement). Now that I've moved to a different country...

This is awesome news. I expected an increase, but not to this extent. Hopefully this will lead to a meaningful reduction in the score over the short term. But it will be countered in a few months by ever increasing demand. So never stop the effort to improve your score if your current score is...

    Ah ok, even simpler then.

Those from Algeria, Morocco and a few other countries in North and West Africa would benefit the most I think. I had met so many of them at the centre during my two TEF exams (for them TEF is the main one and IELTS the secondary one). So this will be added motivation for them to reach CLB 7 in...

Absolutely. It opens up the Montreal and Ottawa job markets, and even benefits you in certain other cities like Halifax. From a job hunting perspective, it would also nudge new immigrants to not just think about GTA while choosing a place to settle down. Also if anyone is interested in Govt...

This is a very interesting (and nice) change I think. Getting CLB 7 in French is a very doable, fun and productive project. I hope it helps a lot of people move to 480+ points and to an ITA.

I doubt that information is correct. Changes including physical relocation can happen in the several months after biometrics. So it doesn't make any sense that you necessarily have to submit the passport in the same VO where you submitted biometrics.

I've a query about relocation. My MEP/BIL is done now and biometrics have been submitted on the 23rd. I will be relocating from South Africa to India next week, and I'll probably be in India till my application reaches PPR. How do I inform this to IRCC? I've seen two ways described, not certain...

It's 17th for me as well. I'd be happy to hear of MEP updates to those closer to that date than the 12th, which is the last one on immitracker.

Has any FSW with AOR on or after September 12 passed MEP yet? There was steady movement till Sep 11 AOR or so, but then it seems to have slowed down.

The point at which inflow every two weeks met outflow pre-covid was 470-471. And it had been consistently increasing by a few points over the course of the entire 2019. So there's nothing strange about the cutoff stabilizing at that level. It's an indication of how popular this program is and...
