are you able to get something from Canada Revenue Agency indicating your marital status reverted back to single after the separation? or just submit your income tax assessments showing that you filed as single for however many years?

this is a question for future reference - we haven't received DM yet! i understand once we get DM, we then need to wait for COPR before the applicant can land. but once the applicant lands, can they begin working immediately or do they need to wait for PR card to come in the mail?
