For me, it's been exactly 10 months today. They received my application on July 07, 2014. I ordered my GCMS notes earlier this week. Let's see... I hope things get sorted out for your quickly xris.

It depends. In my case, I got AOR and request for medical exam in the same email. I've seen cases where they get AOR at one point, and request for medical exam at another point (sometimes a month later). I'm not sure about the police clearance as I had submitted mine along with my application...

No, they didn't ask me for one. I think the 20 month period is more of an upper bound value. Even last year, when most of the applications were taking 8-12 months, CIC website said 18 months for processing time. A small number of applications take up to that time, but the vast majority will...

Hi edb_mtl, I hope you get your PPR very soon. My application was received 3 weeks after you, so I need you to get your PPR so that my turn comes :P

This is not reassuring :( It's been almost 10 months for me now, and I'm hoping I'd get it in about a year (+/- 2 months). I have plans that require the PR, and if the PR is delayed, the plans will get delayed as well! :/

Hi Hossam, Unfortunately no, I did not get the in process update yet. But as I said, some people never get it, and just get a "decision made" status, so we'll see. As for you, I see you just did your medical exams back in Feb, so it's still too early for you to worry ya bashaaa :P
