Hello guys, I've seen on another thread that people who submitted in early 2013 most (if not all) of them landed after about 10 months. It seems that now it's taking more time? I saw this "average processing time" on the CIC website to be 18 months, but I thought it's just like a loose...

Hi Yes, I did try that. but it's not working yet, so I'm assuming my file hasn't been opened yet. On monday, it would've been already 8 weeks since they received my file, so I'm thinking to send them an email early next week. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. The website says that they will not reply to emails if the applicant sends an inquiry less than 8-10 weeks after sending the file. So I will send them an email mid-next week and I'll see what they say. Thanks Dounia! :)

Thanks for sharing your stats. It seems there's some randomness in the process since it took you about 1.5 months to get an AOR while it took ps2qft more than 2 months. On Monday, it would be exactly 8 weeks since they received my file. I will call and see if they would give any information.
