Unfortunately, there's nothing anyone can do to predict or affect those processing times. So much randomness. Some people get it in 8 months, others in more than a year and half! :/

By the way, Suryak, did you get a status update of "in process"? It's almost 10 months since they received my application and I still they didnt update my status to in process! :(

I'm in the same boat as well. Received on July 7, 2014. I heard that in some cases they never change the e-cas status to "in process" and that the next update was directly "decision made" (whenever that should happen :P ). So at this point, there's nothing we can do :/
