    China Applicants Thread

It's more of a risk sending your passport from Canada to China, but we all have to send our passports anyways, so I guess it shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure to use a good courier (I wouldn't recommend UPS). FS

chances of approval to humanitarian and compassionate cases

I was wondering...if you were born and raised in Canada, what would happen if one day the government revoked your citizenship? I mean, you would be without citizenship in any country... FS

I dont get it........hire a lawyer or Immigration Consultant

I'd say that if you have a degree, definitely do it yourself. Even without a degree, as long as you are somewhat intelligent, do it yourself. There is no need for a lawyer unless your case is complicated. People who use a lawyer for a straightforward case are throwing away their money. FS

I feel like to sue the Canadian Embassy and Government...

Hong Kong is a mix of both good and bad in terms of living standards. The air quality is still revolting in HK. The water is the same as the mainland. The food quality is a lot better, but usually only in the better restaurants (though I would say it is mostly better than the mainland). As...

chances of approval to humanitarian and compassionate cases

What if the PR becomes a naturalized citizen? Would it be possible to sponsor in that situation? Or will it always be refused because when the PR became a PR, he/she forgot to include his/her spouse?? I'd go the route of trying to secure a job from a company willing to sponsor him. In the...

I feel like to sue the Canadian Embassy and Government...

True. But China is a totalitarian country and Canada is not. There is a HUGE difference. Isn't that why a lot of educated Chinese are leaving the 'motherland'? It's quite telling when people leave a country even though they have good jobs, family, etc. It shows how bad it really is in terms...

Wife with lack of education and no work experience

Yes, the foreign credentials office would be the place to get her overseas education validated so that she can get a job once she arrives in Canada, if she so chooses. If she is going to complete her MA, make sure she starts applying to programs at universities in the area where you guys will...

Wife with lack of education and no work experience

I don't see any problem. She has a BA, so at least she has something. What you should do is check to see how you can get her education validated for Canada so that she won't have major problems finding a job. As for the MA being an issue, no, and why would it be? I also chose to...

    April 2012 applicants, join here.

The biggest shock for me, after being away for about 13 years would most certainly be the amount of TAXES we pay in Canada. It's out of control. Do any Canadian politicians ever run for office with the slogan of reducing taxes? The other thing that was a bit of a shock, in a funny kind of...

    b4/b4a forms

What is the lead time for CPC Mississauga to reply to emails
