I don't believe it matters as long as your NOC is relevant to the job I'd use 2134 Chemical engineers or 2211 Chemical technologists and technicians.

It took them about 3 months to write back to me with the rejection notice. I really hope you get a more positive result but my advise would be hope for the best and plan for the worst , start looking into jobs in your home country just in case.

I don't think it's possible to know when they will ask , there doesn't seem to be any pattern if you look at the spreadsheet a lot of Aug applicants got MR in May , and people who got AOR after them are still waiting... very frustrating

This is ridiculous.. were already at 17 months, July will be 23 months! There are people who applied under EE 6 months after us in January 2015 who got PR by June 2015 (6 months before us as of Jan 2016 and a year before us if were waiting until July)

Is there any correlation between NOC numbers and immigration points? Like is it a case of the higher the number the more points you get?
