Yea the medical price is crazy, I asked at work if I can have tomorrow/ next week off as holiday and they said yes, so hopefully I can arrange a medical in Toronto for next week before I book a flight.

Has anyone had Medical done in the UK? when I did medical in Toronto it was very basic, blood test, blood pressure, no chest xray and it only cost $150. Now I've got to get a new medical done in the UK, I emailed the clinic and they said it's £310 (about $620 Canadian) and included HIV test...

Just received Medical request now :D but I noticed they have my old address in Canada even though I updated my address with them and it's correct on ecas. I don't know if it matters, the address is actually my parents address so I would still get any mail then sent there.

Were you refused entry or just refused a study or work permit in the US? I think they only care if you were refused entry and even then they only really care about why you were refused entry and if it is something that would make you inadmissible to Canada. personally I'd declare it.

I guess just apply for a second bridging visa some time in May, then you can take advantage of implied status. You should have PR by June anyway, and implied status will buy you a couple of extra months.

Can you give a better explanation of the problem? I don't know if there is just missing information here from an earlier post that I missed? Why is CIC saying you can work for any employer if you are on a closed permit? You also said it has expired, so did you apply for a BOWP already? If so...

I'm a bit confused here are you saying you did your own inking and sent your prints to the police in your country? You can't do that regardless of the color ink (which needs to be black) as far as the police and CIC are concerned you could have send them anyone's prints. If you are in Canada...
