    COPR and coronavirus

They never declared that they wouldn't require us doing re-medicals. Besides, they removed that sections with M1 and M3 from the instruction. Why are you sure, they won't require us? I would be happy, if that is the case, because I am afraid the process would take another 3-4 months. I wonder...

    COPR and coronavirus

Has anyone of FSW-Outland applicants had their file re-opened? As per the Guidelines an officer is to reopen a file upon receipt of a web-form informing inability to travel. I sent that form on the 18th of March, but my file hasn't been touched since then. I have also noticed today that Paris...

    COPR and coronavirus

... or started working on a backlog like @CountessO said :-) I either keep overthinking it and picturing the worst scenario (like "oh, we decided to pospone all COPR expired cases till the next year"), or I keep seeking the hope in each word of every IRCC generic response.

    COPR and coronavirus

I have not sent "ready for travel" web-form yet. We do have international flights to Amsterdam, South Korea, Frankfurt, but all of them are for foreign nationals. People with valid PR visas are excempt from the travel ban, but last week 40 people having various visas to South Korea were denied...

    COPR and coronavirus

I have just recieved a message to my EE account with exactly the same content that I had already recieved a months ago to my e-mail: "Your application will not be refused....transfered to a responsible office and bla-bla" - a generic response. I did not raise any additional forms, but for some...

    COPR and coronavirus

You will need to inform IRCC via web-form that you are unable to travel because of the restrictions (it is obvious, but you better make a note to them about that). But do you think the travel restrictions will be in place for so long?

    COPR and coronavirus

Thank you for sharing this. Oh, that is something completely new for me. Indeed, there is no such information on their site. What is his immigration class (CEC, Sponsorship or regular FSW)? Do you know when he received this letter? I am just wandering, if this is something new the IRCC offices...

    COPR and coronavirus

Is it possible for your acquaintance to share the content of the letter he received (hiding personal details, of course)?

    COPR and coronavirus

They might mean that his re-opened file will be brought forward for review within 90 days? We haven't heard of anybody who would receive a reply from IRCC stating that visa will be extended automatically. (only landing by telephone and automatically for in-land applicants)

    COPR and coronavirus

Apart from other groups (like family member of a PR/Citizenship holder, or Diplomats....) those who received their COPRs before 18th of March and have valid COPRs are exempt.

    COPR and coronavirus

None on this thread has been granted an extension (except for Sponsor or Family class, Hong Kong VO applicant). No news at all. I started thinking that I am not getting any extension in the nearest 3 months - they are currently prioritizing Families and Sponsorship classes, then will be clearing...

    COPR and coronavirus

When I was only applying for the program, the admissions officer/advisor told me to send them any document confirming that I am a PR (which can be signed/landed COPR as well) and only after that they will charge me domestic fee. I thought I would have been in Canada by now and that they would...

    COPR and coronavirus

Unfortunately, my program does not have January intake. Looks like I will have to pay at least for a semester (15K CAD). It would be great if they had made an exception because of the situation, but universities themselves are suffering financially (mine in particular). International Students...

    COPR and coronavirus

They would defer my intake for 2021 September and I would loose 1 year. Anyways, I wrote to admission office, if I can get a refund after I get PR (provided that I become PR before start of the lessons). Let's see what they answer next week.

I also hope for that. I have to pay tuition before 7th of August, which means I will have to pay as an International student. that shatters my budget completely!

Flights from UAE resumed. Is there anyone with expired COPR from UAE?

    COPR and coronavirus

Hmmm, the same automatic reply like the one everyone gets when informing about inability to travel. I was expecting some different reply. I think they will give specific response when the visa offices are open.

    COPR and coronavirus

You are right. I didn't think of that :-) I just thought it could facilitate the process, but I better not mess with the IRCC authorities :) I will wait at least till the first internaitonal flight depatures from my country.

    COPR and coronavirus

No, it only announced that Domestic flights are resumed. My VAC is still closed. I guess I must use it as a sign to raise a web-form: as soon it is open, I will inform IRCC that I am able to travel.

I am in Kazakhstan and there are flights to Toronto through Dubai. So I am glad to know that Emirates and KLM resumed their flights.
