    COPR and coronavirus

Not yet :-( Looks like my country is going on a 4 week lockdown again! The situation is getting worse here - people don't believe in the virus and patients dying from pneumonia is not a persuasive factor for them. People keep arranging weddings and family gatherings - so dumb!

    COPR and coronavirus

There was a person who sent that form referring to the Vande Bharat mission, but he received an answer that only those COPR holder whose COPR was approved before 18th of March are exempt from the travel ban. But because his new COPR will be issued after the 18th of March he is no longer exempt...

    COPR and coronavirus

May be it depends on VO - you might not be required to retake medicals, who knows. I have already mentally prepared myself for a loooong process. Lady from the Clinic also told me, that they have a long queue of clients waiting for their appointments since April. It means it will take time to...

    COPR and coronavirus

The Request for Medical arrived to my account, so consequently IRCC have the tools to monitor what is being sent to the applicants. Anyways, I am totally fine with that. All I want is just to write here one day: Hey guys, want to share with you my landing experience.

    COPR and coronavirus

They have just answered me that current 30 days rule does not apply at the moment and I can take my exam when it is safe. I read about 90 days regarding med and biometrics, just wanted to confirm with the VO.

    COPR and coronavirus

As per the latest instructions, "a re-opened application may be re-approved provided that the applicant and their family members, whether accompanying or not, have valid immigration medical examinations, criminal and security checks and passports. " It doesn't mentioned M1 and M3 or anything.

    COPR and coronavirus

Thank you. I did both: raised a web-form (as per the guidelines) and wrote to VO (as per their letter saying "write here as soon as you are ready"). Just called to the Clinic. They are not accepting appointments. Don't know why I was given only 30 days. I informed the VO about that. Will wait...

Thank you. I am determined to do everything on time - don't want to blow up opportunity again, hopefully the clinic takes appointments.

Yea - we will do what we have to do as long is doesn't throw us back to the pool :-) I am from Kazakhstan. Borders are still closed, but international flights are resuming on 20th of June. As per Border Control of my country, PRV holders are exempt (but none knows how well the ordinary officers...

    COPR and coronavirus

I don't understand why somebody is so sure that we will not have to redo our medicals. Some of us will have to do that! Please, don't be mislead with a false feeling of peace and be prepared to retake medicals. I have just been requested to go through medical examinations. I wrote directly yo...

Thank you for the link. However, I will not be able to start my studies as an International student (expensive). I hoped to become domestic as soon as I land (hopefully).

    COPR and coronavirus

I read on Facebook groups that International students (with study permits issued before 18th of March) were denied boarding. Air India and border control referred to Canada not letting them in, but it is not true, isn't it? Canada allowed International students as far as I know. It will be a...

    COPR and coronavirus

Oh, no. If we have to redo medicals, it will be even longer. I only hope my University will allow distance learning for first semester (they barely do that for engineering programs).
