It's not so easy to prove you have a skill that your employer cannot find elsewhere. That's the point of the LMIA, but how many employers can prove it?

I got PCC from Canada, it was in the document checklist.i think it's better to have it than not, at least you will submit what the checklist requires and you avoid delays with CIC.just my 2 cents.

If CIC holds the draws every 2 weeks,I don't think there will be enough people in the pool with LMIA or PNP to get all the invitations. This is the only way the score could go above 600 again.

To the OP - besides the LMIA, the system gives more points to those with Canadian experience.i think this influences your skill transferability points too.you get 40 additional points for 1 year of Canadian work experience. Since the last draws had only 10-20 points difference in the cutoff...

It looks like LMIA doesn't even matter that much,since the score dropped below 600.it mattered in the first 4 draws but I don't see the cutoff score going above 600 soon.

It's not about EU or not EU,my country is EU member but you cannot come to Canada without tourist visa.the rules are made for each country in part.

No offence but I think every country has the right to its own immigration policy. What you achieved may not be enough according to their criterias. Draws are still happening and people are still getting invited so I don't see your point.
