Agree with "...a very small percentage of people". At the same time, statistics of the opened files is spread and represented equally among those who are on this site and who are not.

Thank you so much! Very useful info! On the other hand, what else can an agent say - obviously a delay! My point is that if there is a delay in the subway, everybody is waiting. Here is a completely different story - seems like this delay is for selected group of people only, which is minority...

To be honest, that's weird. I would say Yes, you are supposed to get AOR at the same time. But once again, nobody really knows how the officers work. It's miracle ;-p My suggestion would be to give it a couple of days and call if nothing is received.

Did you apply as family all in one file/ envelope, or everyone sent it separately? If separately, they have no idea, you meant a family application, and process you as two different individuals.

Agree! Let's keep it as a personal opinion... nothing more! I can't reach the Call Centre re not receiving AOR. Seems like, the volume of call are too high, and mine can never be processed. Have anyone ever tried to send them an email. Does it make sense? Their address is posted online...

Same here... Application received on Oct 16. Still nothing...:eek: I tried to dial CIC twice to see where they stand. But, seems like they are too busy to answer. The call didn't go through.
