Ohhh that's good to know. So these numbers are not really helpful to figure out approximate time of processing then? Also, congratulations!!

I'm sorry :( we both were excited about your GU! I checked out the Jan and Feb threads and I am so annoyed we are stuck even when PPR is being issued for Jan and Feb applicants... Welcome to the club! No movement yet, but hopefully someone picks up this group of files soon.

Apparently the GU on MyCIC account was due to the glitch in the system this morning, according to other threads. -__-

Ahhhh this sounds super optimistic! I feel like there's only a handful of us CEC inland applicants from Dec intake still waiting! Something about the combo of CPC Ottawa and Van Immigration making this process sloooww. Even outland applicants are receiving their PPRs and here we are still lol

Received my GCMS notes. My COPR isn't printed yet but the doc number is T60287****. Earlier in this chat, I believe people with 60285**** were still waiting to receive their COPR - I guess I have a few weeks to wait? Looks like my file is at CPC Ottawa with Vancouver Immigration as my secondary...

I ordered GCMS just a little over a month ago...so hopefully I receive it any day now. I got an update on MyCIC on Aug 31st and called IRCC to ask what it was about. The agent said a final decision was made, but COPR wasn't issued yet. I'm hoping there's been some movement since then

There are lots of people who do not use immitracker, including me. :) And I am still waiting. You and I seem to be in a pretty similar situation! I expect your COPR will come in before mine since yours was approved first. My GCMS notes were supposed to be delivered today...will post an update if...

I really don't understand why there is a long wait between making a final decision and issuing COPR for inland applicants. So many of us still waiting weeks and months after we were told a final decision was made on our files. Are they trying to space out PR card applications?

I think they extend for one year.

You can also apply for GCMS notes if you are currently residing in Canada. :) It's also free to apply for these notes directly from the government website.

...why would they tell you it's a landing interview and then say your file is yet to be finalized? So weird. I'd call them and ask about the status of your application tomorrow. Good luck!

    Back home experience letter

If you are applying through the CEC stream, you won't need a letter from an overseas job. Are you applying under the Federal Skilled or CEC?

Yep, they update your CIC account. When your medicals are expired, the status under "review of medical results" goes to "you do not need a medical exam" and then when they extend it, it gets updated with the date they extended it on. Mine was extended on August 31st and my status now reads like...

Yeah, that make sense for outland. I should have clarified I was referring to inland applicants who seem to have been stuck at "Final Decision Pending" for a few months now, particularly at the Ottawa office.

The agent told me that is the reason why he can't tell me what the final decision is. Maybe they are legally not allowed to tell us if we are approved until COPR is issued.

So exciting! Congratulatulations!!! The agent couldn't tell me if my file is approved because the COPR file isn't issued yet haha but he did say "everything looks perfect" :P We're almost there!
