AOR was Dec 05 and I'm still waiting for MEP. Not sure why it's taking so long.....anyone in a similar situation?

I would check if you can actually count the 8hrs/week at all. I believe the guidelines for part time work experience is that it has to be a minimum of 15hrs/week. I'm not sure if it means 15hrs/week both jobs combined OR 15hrs/week per NOC/job. Hopefully it's the first :)

It doesn't matter when you created your EE profile. Your work experience is counted from the date you started work to the date you got an ITA. As long as there's one year between you starting work to the date you got an ITA, you should be okay. If you get an ITA before you complete your one...

The system does count the whole month, unfortunately, and sends you ITA before you actually complete one year. This happens a lot. You have to decline the ITA, and wait to be invited only after you have completed one year (or 2 years if you are claiming points for 2 years...and so on). You are...

It varies; it looks like people get a request for biometrics before MEP in many cases. My AOR was Dec 5, got my BIL Dec 19, but still no MEP. Your AOR was right before Christmas and New Years, so expect a bit of a delay :) but it will come soon!

Yes, thank you, I decided to just call them instead of worrying :) The rep said they are currently processing criminality and eligibility checks on my application; he said MEP is delayed sometimes as it is the easiest stage and officers sometimes leave it till later.
