Oh. I resubmitted photos 15th March. Nothing since then. I thought they take about a month more if there is photo request. I believe they might have lost my photos.

1. Use the letter which says 2 years. IRCC most likely wouldn't question it if it is signed and is on a letterhead. 2. You can use this work experience but you need to prove it. Try to get in touch with your supervisor or any senior co-worker and ask him/her to write a reference letter for you.

Yes but unfortunately calling is comparatively the fastest way of knowing status of your appln. Web enquiry takes a week to get response and online status is unreliable. I wouldn't have worried so much about my PR card but I have made arrangements for receival.

Don't trust them when they say they are processing photos for this particular date. I have seen people later than march 20 photo delivery getting approved. So the photos are not really sorted by date.

Anybody whose new photos were delivered around 15th march got any updates? Since last few days they are saying that they have just started processing 15th march.

I got new photo request. But i don't think it has anything to do with them returning one of the photos with CoPR.

Web enquiry is somewhat slow (~5 business days). Calling is the fastest way to get an update on your file. Try calling next day.

When i recently called cic the call centre guy said once the card is processed it will be mailed within 6 weeks. I don't think it should take that long. What is the usual time ppl have experienced to receive their card after the appln was 'approved'?

If you check couple of pages back someone had similar status update few days before approval. So yes it's a positive sign.

Yea some of their processes are really pathetic. I have landed in Jan. Since then I am waiting.
