No progress. I call them once a week to get the same answer "we do not have any info on your photos. If the photos are alright then you will get the card in mail. Cannot give a time frame."

If they require new photos IRCC will email you in around 45 days from your application. That's the only correspondence you get from them after your application.

CIC is stupid. Their one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. It's the same photo request sent by mail and email. Just send a Case specific enquiry with your photo submission details.

I sent on 10th march. I think they have lost my photos.

I submitted photos on 15 march. I am going to call them reluctantly this Thursday. Good luck to you too.

When did you submit your new photos? I don't even feel like calling them now to check. Every time they give me BS.

Hehe.. everyone is on their own here. It's just his/her luck now when their photos will be processed. I have also seen some ppl who got photo requests after me but still went through already. Anyways I will keep posting here now and then to take out my anger on the process. :D

I think there should be another thread for us neglected children who got photo requests :(. It makes me jealous when I read about people who landed 2 months after me getting their PR cards already. :p

Do you think that is the reason? During PPR the guy at visa office took 2 photos from me. Later he pasted the other photo to CoPR and returned me the photo with details loose in the envelope. It's just that I realized later that there was a fckin photo loose in that envelope but it was like 2...

Oh.. I should edit that part. I meant to say linking helps only if you don't get photo request. Otherwise your status will always show as 'submitted'.

So today when I called them again (5th time) to check status of my resubmitted photos they made yet another excuse about not being able to find any information on my photos. This time it was "we are not able to connect to our database right now". My understanding is that they don't keep digital...

Sorry to hear that but the call center people don't know the reasons for rejection. They will just say the photos didn't meet the specs. In my case I had asked the immigration officer during landing whether my photo was alright or should I give him another one since I was carrying extra photos...

It's not because you forgot to write your details on back of photo. They returned me the photo with my details on it along with the client copy of CoPR. The reasons for photo rejection are unclear but it might be because: 1. You landed late (6 months after copr) which makes the photo on it...
