I did pay RPRF late, I submitted copy of the receipt with PPR+sent a copy to CPC-M. My GCMS notes say they already rec'd confirmaton of payment, so I dont think thats whats causing the delay. They just haven't tuoched our application since June 26th (according to notes). My guess is I ordered...

Does anybody know if asking an MP from a different riding is helpful? My MP refused to help until Nov, since i'm within 8 months from approval date, I would have to wait until Nov to ask them for help. So I was just wondering if I should contact a different MP.

Thanks, that makes sense, if you're a PR holder you can not leave the country for long periods of a time. My cousins a citizen, so I hope it doesn't effect his application.

She didn't get visa yet. They applied few weeks before me. End of jan. He just recently left, last week to be with her. They haven't heard anything since ppr.

I agree, every country is different.. and will always have different processing times. Some can imporove more than others. Anyways, hope all of your spouses get their visa's soon. Btw, congrats canadiangirl78. Wish you guys a happy life in Canada :)

Yea how would they know? Sponsors are hardly contacted after approval.. I've heard this many times recently, my cousin went back to India recently to stay with his wife until she gets her visa, but everyone kept warning him not to since it would delay the case.

I think medicals is first (looks like CPC-M updtaes that), after that its probably different for every VO.

Just rec'd my GCMS notes, not as helpful as I hoped. It does confirm that my husbands PP was rec'd and that all payments are rec'd (I paid RPRF after sponsorship approval). Medicals passed. Everything else says "not started". It also says that we did not indicate VO on the medical. Hope that...

I believe only the applicant has to submit PCC after the age of 18. So if the person has been living in the same place since age of 14, they would only do PCC for that place. Before the age of 18, I don't think there is any way of getting a PCC, unless the kid got himself/herself in trouble as a...

Only after 18 years old, if you stayed anywhere longer than 6 months since that age you would have to incld PCC.

You're one step closer :) You can incld a copy of PCC and payment if you have it, just indicate that the orignals were sent earlier. Don't forget to include copy of the PPR that they emailed as well.

It is very unpredictable, there really is no clear pattern as how they select cases that they work on. I hope they pick up the speed at VO's so everyone hears something soon.
