Hello friends I have one confusion can you please help.
I submitted my application on may 31st sponsorship approved on July 24th n now waiting for pp request.

When I submitted the application I attached all docs including medical and police clearance. Police clearance was submitted 109 days after it was issued. So my concern is will they ask for another police clearance. Is there chances of asking another police clearance even after receiving pp request?

My spouse is in USA and we received her FBI report effective feb 10 2012
She was back home from jan 2012 to may 2012 so we applied police clearance from home country for that
Period. That's the reason I didn't apply for new FBI clearance for my wife during the time of application submission ( as it don't make sense to have 2 police reports for the same time) even if I had applied for new FBI report it would take around 2 months n till than the police clearance from home country would expire as it would cross more than 90 days. Anyways I guess the visa officer can easily figure this out. Do I need to request another FBI report or don't even worry about it? Ani idea I appreciate your advice

We received PPR today!

I am thinking of sending PP, covering letter, the AOR pdf they sent in the email, and a copy of the payment receipt of $1040 that includes RPRF. I already sent the receipt when we first submitted the application, but I read somewhere that it is recommended to send another copy along with PP.

Covering letter will include detail such as that my wife has returned to India, she was working in Dubai when we sent the application, and PCC and medical have already been submitted.

I think this is it, any other suggestion?

Hey congrats man !! :)

All the best for your future .
Cheers !!!

SENIOR MEMBERS PLEASE HELP!

I am outside India and I have just received my PPR. After skimming through a few threads, I found out that I could send my passport to NDVO via friend or relative. Now, my question is..first off, is it REALLY possible to do that? I mean have there been cases like that? Secondly, although unlikely, if there is an interview..do I expect the NDVO to return my passport for me to fly back? Also, do I have to inform NDVO that I will be sending my passport through a friend?

Another possibility that a member told me about was to E-mail NDVO and let them know if I want to submit my passport in the final stage. Could you please tell me where I can email them. I also need to send them an additional PCC. So just in case, I do not send my passport right now, can I just send my PCC with the cover letter stating that I'd like for them request it when they are issuing me the visa?

Please please guide!

Hi Zeenish,

In my opinion it is better to send an email saying that you will be submitting your PP at the final stage rather than at this time. Though it may take another 2 - 4 weeks extra time it is the safest option if you have plans to stay away from India for another 3 -4 months.

yes send new PCC now and write in cover letter that im travelling at this point and would like to submit my passport at the end of process.

Thanks alot! But does that also mean that sending the PP via friend isn't that good an option? My concern is waiting too much. I hope its only a matter of few weeks and not months. As I need to be in India in the first week of December. So I'm in a fix right now. :'(

Congrats abhi292000 and Arjun3 !!

Ashunandal-How much time do I have before I can submit my passport without causing any delays and or before receiving a reminder?

Hi somebody pl Update my time line.I tried doing it but of no avail

it's updated....

Does anybody know if asking an MP from a different riding is helpful? My MP refused to help until Nov, since i'm within 8 months from approval date, I would have to wait until Nov to ask them for help. So I was just wondering if I should contact a different MP.

Good news :)

My wife got her passport back today.

Seems CIC doesn't updat ee-cas, it still shows "In-Process".

Thankyou all for your support and much needed advices.

Hope everyone gets their PR soon.
