me tooo no update don't worry we are in same line my wife also expecting in october i wish that we both get our visa before the day comes. i know it's weird they already issuing visas for march applicants. well just wait and pray our file will be next i wish u gud luck that u get ur visa soon so u can be with your wife before the day comes.

We received PPR today!

I am thinking of sending PP, covering letter, the AOR pdf they sent in the email, and a copy of the payment receipt of $1040 that includes RPRF. I already sent the receipt when we first submitted the application, but I read somewhere that it is recommended to send another copy along with PP.

Covering letter will include detail such as that my wife has returned to India, she was working in Dubai when we sent the application, and PCC and medical have already been submitted.

I think this is it, any other suggestion?

So can u please let me know , if PPR comes , what should i write in Cover Letter and what else to take care..
And address where to send....

you can write in cover letter " since i have submitted my PCC and medical with my application in mississauga so im sending only my passport now
what about RPRF fees??

I m new to this forum and in the process of preparing my application file for my spouse from India.
Just had a quick question regarding documents to be attached.
Which original doc goes along other than police clearance and marriage certificate.
Also if the pics are take in India, does it need to be stamped at the back by the photographer as they do it in Canada.(true resemblence)

Any other inputs from your side will be highly appreciated.

WAIT........ dont attach your original marriage certificate, send one photocopy only.
they dont need anything original except PCC and no need to get photographer's stamp on the back of photos
organise your application in proper way and dont forget to keep one copy of each and every docs sending with application and all forms as well

Yeah we have paid the fees with the application...n do i need to write UCI number on the Cover letter ..?

For countries like USA, it means you need to get both State as well as FBI clearance certificate.

For example, if you had lived in US in two different states for more than 6 months each then you have to state clearance from both the states separately apart from FBI clearance as well.

you need to get PCC for each country, where you lived more than 6 months. state means,if you lived somewhere, where they have different rules and regulations in each states (maybe if you lived in canada and USA but there you can get FBI clearance )

Hi Nathanrocks, I too in similar situation. Applying for Child sponsorship with both of us as PR. Got approval in third week of July but still waiting for PPR. I hope child sponsorship should be quick because there is no background check etc. Please do keep updating about your status as we are sailing in same boat.

You should do it as soon as possible. If you wait for more then 1 month then they will send you another reminder. But the longer you wait the more you will delay your file.

We sent our sons passport after 53 days from the date of PPR. We did not get any reminder, but no decision yet. PPR was on 11th May 2012
