In my case it looks like not paying RPRF is delaying me in getting ppr. Did you already pay it?

Hi everyone, my husband hasn't rec'd ppr as of yet. It's been 37 days!! :( In his ecas (using file number) it shows his address now, so does that mean we should be rec'ing it soon? or should I be worried that it got lost in the mail?

I was told to do the same thing by cic-m, to wait till I get UCI #. Just a suggestion, you may want to pay it online now, then email/fax it to ND once you get UCI#. I waited to pay, but my consequence is waiting longer for PPR. It might make it faster for you?

I hope that doesn't delay my process. I knew I had to pay a landing fee, but didn't know it was called RRPF. I should've consulted someone before sending our file.

I Paid the landing fees a few weeks ago. Right after I got the approval. That could be why its taking me longer to get PPR than others?

Oook thanks, I thought the landing fee was an additional fee on top of the $1040.. I only paid $540 when I submitted my application, because I didnt know about RPRF. But I have the recipt for that now, so i'll submit that with the PPR.. and fax it to CIC-M in case they need a copy of it.

Congrats!! Where did you pay the landing fee? I wasn't able to find that online.. I wanted to pay it so we can send a copy of the receipt with the passport.. Hopefully get ppr soon as well.

I'm not sure, but I think they would mail you letter to the address you provided on the application.

Thanks, hopefully it's still about couple weeks for ppr request. Feel like everything will be delayed more because of the high volume of applications in Jan. But I guess we wont really know until they update the quarterly stats for each vo. I agree, glad they email..otherwise that would delay...

If you dont mind me asking, I noticed both your VO's is ND. How long did you have to wait for PPR? and did they contact the person being sponsored directly for it via email? or letter in the mail?

I can finally log into ecas! It says our application was rec'd Feb 3rd/ and medical results rec'd (according to canada post, they should've rec'd it feb 2nd.. but I mailed it to the PO box address so there was probably a delay in a day to get to the cic office).

They'll send an email to the applicant, or if you didnt provide an email they will mail it to the applicant. It really looks like they're picking up the speed, so I guess that means the timing for stage 1 will go down! Good news for everyone in Feb and after. I wonder if this catch up on the...
