You can just have a go to visit Canada on a tourist visa and look for a job. You're not violating any immigration law. Anyway, some of the job application online ask you what is your current visa status and who knows, one employer is just looking for you. Good luck.

It might be an automatic letter sent out by Ottawa office those who applied before February 2008. I reckoned you're still in the loop. How about if you send an enquiry with your current visa office just to clear the doubts. But be positive this time, just to get the good vibe.

Thommo, no perfect country in this world that provides what we want. But the bottomline, Canada is better than India aye? Did you think about it? Whatever experience we have in Canada, still it is our option and decesion. Canada does not force us to migrate. Peace! :)
