Hi Guys,
I would like to seek some opinions on forumers here that might have the same experience.
I am currently halfway of my PR application and hoping that it will be approved in 4-5 months ( estimate only ) I together with my family is currently based here in a small town in Alberta. I have been working in the Food and Beverage industry as a manager for the past 13 years and have started to feel the need for a switch in career. I think I am capable of doing other work like office jobs or field jobs that would give me a fixed work schedule. Not that I don't enjoy F&B anymore but I am starting to feel the stress of extended and shifting schedules.
My question is for those who have done a career shift here in Canada. Are Canadian companies open on ideas like this? Do they provide training for the new job in case?
As I have been to 2 jobs in the past 3 years here and both on F&B, I am not sure if they are open on this idea.
Hoping to get some inputs from you guys
