That's normal. In a few days (3-4), if all goes well, your file shoul be approved (both the cases). I'm talking about VO Ottawa here.

It would be interesting to contact the person who has posted this update on FB and ask him specific questions.

I don't think this is correct. I submitted joint account statements for POF and my file is approved. Please refer to the official version of requirements posted at the CIC website and don't worry much about Facebook updates :) PS - Why would they not accept joint account, it doesn't make any sense.

Any idea when they send the PPR email? Is it during Canadian business hours or what? I got a response that application is approved but I've not received PPR mail yet (till my Saturday morning in India i.e. after business hours of Canadian Friday)
