Congratulations!! Yes PPR on the way but not sure on the time it'll take. I'm on the same state from a week, but let's be happy that the application has been approved :)

Please check the average processing time as per visa office on MyImmiTracker.com. You'll have to find the applicable tracker on the site (I confirm that a tracker exists for this)

Okay the question which is bothering me is what is the meaning of application approved? Approved here means actually approved and no more action needed (other than PPR)? or it means something else i.e. they are doing something more with the application.

Oh no!! You should absolutely send an email or call them, yours is a genuine case of delay.

Let's call it what it is - your lawyer is a jerk :) Ask him to explain why is he upset? Insist for the real reason :) Your action shouldn't be the cause for him to be upset.

Mate why are you tense? It won't help. Your file is approved which is the main thing, now relax. There are bigger battles to be won after landing, prepare yourself for the upcoming challenges. "Worry is a misuse of our imagination"

They mention the steps to pay the fees. If you haven't received instructions on how to pay (step by step process), you should receive updated information. Or you may contact CIC (over email) and ask for instructions.

So things have started to move. 12 folks received PPR on August 1 which is better than the drought of last week. Anyway CIC is slow during the week and pick up speed over the weekend. This is good news, CIC is coming out of hybernation.

When they send a notification, they mention the steps to pay RPRF. You follow the steps and pay it. I'm not sure of 7 days as there was no deadline notification for me. After receiving the request to pay RFPR, you should try to pay as soon as you can so that your file progresses to the next step...

Hey, many congratulations!!! At times CIC is indeed moving quickly. IP2 to PPR was fast. Do you know your VO?

My two cents - this means that they have reviewed your documents and don't find anything pending. If you have not paid RPRF then you should receive a request to pay. If you have paid, then ideally the status should change to IP2. This is what happened to me after this change. All the best.

I don't think so. Why would they deliberatly delay only the PPR letter and approve the applications? Annual immigration quota of this year isn't met as I recall so why delay existing applications? As per me it's an item which got caught up in administrative hurdles (all companies have these...

Hey, this graph helps :) I hit the anxiety/panic/anger slope and try to bring myself back to "optimum" by remembering that though the average time is 5 days but it may take upto 16 days from IP 2 to PPR.
