Hey, that's wicked news. That's a one step before decision made. Once you see your address change to your husband's Canadian address, you can start packing your bags.

I hear you. It feels like life has taken a pause; you've all the plans and things you wanted to do together, but everything is in suspension until this is over, even visits would only bring temporary relief. I really hope she gets here before the summer ends so we can enjoy summer together, take...

What you got was indeed a PPR. ECAS will say 'in process' after they receive your passport and start finalizing your visa. That happens before the status changes to decision made.

Good luck. It will turn all out well. if you lose your passport, you can have another one made through US Embassy in DC. I had mine renewed there when I was in states. Make sure you keep a copy of your nagarita though.

Her weekly queries have been whether her PPR had arrived and the answer has been no. Before that she went to the office and asked about how often they received visa related documents, and the answer was every tuesday. She asked them whether they received PPRs and it was indeed where she had to...

It's great you got all the clearances out of the way. My guess is, you won't be called in for an interview. All the best.

You have paid your landing fees and sent the police clearance reports? If not you need to get on that right away. Since I also went to school in US two different states, I'd to get clearance from two state police and FBI when I did mine several years back. If you lived in Nepal after you turned...

Did you try emailing ND? It seems like that's the only way to get them to answer, although it might not be timely. Even though KTM office will not know the specifics pertaining to your case, as they're only a front, they'll be more willing to speak to you and answer if it's something they know...

Congratulations!!! it didn't include my message in previous post. The F000*** number is file number. I use that to access e-cas sometimes. UCI number stays with you forever, but file number specifies your application.

Hi, have you tried calling Canadian Cooperation Office in Kathmandu? This is a number to their visa section (at least the section that deals with collecting and sending passports to ND and receiving them back and arranging interviews) 977-1-4415192. Please try calling them in afternoons...

Just got into Toronto, too late for me to enquire, but you should definitely call Lazimpat. They're very helpful and I'm sure they'll give you the information you need. And I'm sure they've better info than what I can source from asking around.

Not sure about whether they set an interview before PPR, or they ask for it after receiving PP. Since a lot of countries have one embassy processing their visas, it doesn't make a lot of sense to ask for an interview and making them travel across the border while holding onto the applicant's...

Welcome to the forum. Most of us stay sane thanks to this forum and whenever I feel like calling CIC, I come here instead and get solace from fellow travellers. Congratulations on the first stage and all the best for the rest.

Congratulations!!! I am hoping to get mine soon. What does your ecas show? Mine says, application received with medical results received as the last entry. Nepal not having an embassy makes things complicated for us as Delhi VO tries to communicate through Kathmandu Aid Office or something like...
