What you got was indeed a PPR. ECAS will say 'in process' after they receive your passport and start finalizing your visa. That happens before the status changes to decision made.

Good luck. It will turn all out well. if you lose your passport, you can have another one made through US Embassy in DC. I had mine renewed there when I was in states. Make sure you keep a copy of your nagarita though.

Hi, have you tried calling Canadian Cooperation Office in Kathmandu? This is a number to their visa section (at least the section that deals with collecting and sending passports to ND and receiving them back and arranging interviews) 977-1-4415192. Please try calling them in afternoons...

Not sure about whether they set an interview before PPR, or they ask for it after receiving PP. Since a lot of countries have one embassy processing their visas, it doesn't make a lot of sense to ask for an interview and making them travel across the border while holding onto the applicant's...
