CEC-Has any Oct 2011 applicant received file number or medical?!

I got an email from CPP-O this morning saying that my file has been transferred to the Ottawa office. (Buffalo received my application on Nov 28.) I guess this is considered AOR? I tried to log into the e-cas using the application number the email had indicated, but the system could not...

    BUFFALO AOR AUGUST-SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2010

My understanding is that "pre-June" means application being submitted to NS office before June 25 2010, not to Buffalo.

CEC-Has any Oct 2011 applicant received file number or medical?!

I am a FSW applicant as well. I called CIC to ask about if I can send in multiple applications, and the answer was YES. So, except that you might lose some money, there probably aren't other risks.

I am in the same boat, not having PR is a big disadvantage during job hunt. I submitted my application in late Nov, maybe a few days before yours?

Checked the 2010 forum, looks like CIC is processing June to Oct 2010 applications. Hope they will finish the 2010s soon and get back on us 2011s.

CEC-Has any Oct 2011 applicant received file number or medical?!

My application was delivered to the office on Nov 29, 2011 (tracking info). But I haven't heard anything from CIC ever since... I logged in the ecas and nothing was shown there - didn't even say that they received the application or started to process... Once there's something new, I will share.

    Inland Application 2011

Hello all, I am new in this thread. I sent my application on Nov 17, 2011 and the package was received by CIC on Nov 22, 2011. My wife (the sponsor) has a client ID # (the number on her PR card), will I be able to use her number to check the status of my application? If not, how soon will I...

Congratulations. I am curious if any applicants in or after August have received the AIP letter. I only see this happens among July applicants. They are extremely fast.

    <<< JUNE APPLICANT, 2010>>>

mine time line is very similar to yours, still RBVO. what's worse? I have no AOR from the Buffalo VO and I wrote emails to them, their replies were "yes, we have not issued that yet". Lost hope already

so there is still some kind of "order", I thought they just pick up applications randomly and process from there...

Full docs sent to Buffalo within three months ahead or back around Nov, 2010

May 2010... which means for most of the people in this thread, the waiting time would be another 8--12 months before their files would be transferred to other VO?

file a new application under Family Class? according to what I have read, you will be granted an open work permit once your spouse's sponsorship application is approved.

I still have the chance to beat you... I am at 11th month of RBVO and Buffalo's reply (last week) clearly indicated that they hadn't even touched my file. So, 3 more month to go and I will be the champion!

Agreed. By the time we get our visa, this number could be either longer or shorter, most probably longer - 25 months? 30 months? who knows...
