Any chance of CRS dropping to 425-430 during the later half of 2020?

Well they should fire that consultant then. There aren't enough people in the pool to bring the score to over 480. Unless they pick less than half of what they normally do. At the last draw there was less than 4000 people with scores over 470. A usual draw is 3-4000 people. It's scary how many...

R u waiting for AINP nomination

I really don't understand ainp this year. Even before covid they had barely given out any NOI compared to previous years. I wonder if it points to them possibly changing the EE nomination program. It is a pretty unique program in the country

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

Unless it was double of a normal draw, no. That would not happen. Last I checked there was close to 4000 people with scores over 470. But the good news is that the scores wouldn't sky rocket just because the draws have been cec. It would basically be as before

    January 2020 AINP NOI

A cook who got ainp? Did you have a job offer or AOS? I don't think I've seen a cook get noi before

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

Do remember that the previous draws went down 3, 4, and 9. Points. So we could see another drop depending on if there are bubbles

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

That is what makes me really hope to be invited in cec. Because my backup plan was to do a working holiday year in NZ starting in October. Something that doesn't seem entirely likely

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

That would be the smartest thing to do for Canada. But no. Unfortunately there has been zero signs that they are planning to do that. It seems like they are happy enough using the shotgun spread of CEC instead.

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

I think people here are overly optimistic for how fast things will be back to normal. The borders are still closed, probably at least until June. Most places of work are still open. Alberta are just barely starting up again. I looked up IELTS, and the earliest I could find was May 30th. And even...

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

I have 444. I have 4 and a half months left of my visa in canada. Really hope they keep doing CEC draws. Because moving to a different country will not be the easiest in the middle of a pandemic.

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

No you aren't. You are confusing being overly negative with reality. It's just as false as saying everyone with 300CRS will get an ITA from cec soon. It's just that you go the other way.

Ray of Hope - 145th Draw - CEC

They only release one before the draw. I looked a bit at all the cec draws. The scores went down 4,3,9,3 points with these draws. Without knowing the breakdown of fsw VS cec and fst it is impossible to know if we'll have another 3 score drop. Or if it will suddenly drop big again.

Ray of Hope - 145th Draw - CEC

Lets watch and see. Dont use Alberta to judge anyways because the economy of Alberta is seriously bad now. If it was a general thing, I believe SINP and Ontario would have taken same decision too. IRCC has said it is a general thing. That is why they are doing only CEC and PNP draws currrently...

Ray of Hope - 145th Draw - CEC

Sure. But they are needed for cec as well. And for people who got an ITA before the pandemic. Alberta announced on April 29th that they are only targeting Inland. And alberta is starting to open up today. That still shows that they aren't expecting things to be normal for a while. And the draw...

Ray of Hope - 145th Draw - CEC

It is still the most likely that there will only be CEC and PNP draws for a while. Alberta has decided to only invite people who are already in canada as well. And IRCC has said on Twitter that they are doing the CEC draws to try and target people in canada. So while things are starting to open...

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

https://www.alberta.ca/ainp.aspx Right there. It´s a bit too long to quote the text. But basically they are only nominating inland applicants.

Ray of Hope - 145th Draw - CEC

That's what makes it so hard to guess how far the score will drop. It all depends on where those pockets of people are. Just from how CRS works I'm guessing there are pockets of scores that are more likely than others. So another draw could either just slog through that pocket. Or suddenly drop...

Ray of Hope - 147th Draw - CEC

Only a 3 score drop this time. But it is becoming increasingly clear that they will pretty much only focus on people in canada, or with connection to Canada. Alberta went out and said that they will only nominate people in Canada. So while I hope things will clear up quickly with Covid, it is...

Ray of Hope - 146th Draw - PNP

Can someone throw an Octopus a bunch of balls with weekdays on it, so we can get a good answer for what day the next draw will be.

Ray of Hope - 145th Draw - CEC

I could see that. Their twitter has said some similar things too, right? Something that the CEC and PNP draws have been done to target people who are likely to already be in the country. But they always say they don't speculate on future draws. This quote definitely makes it seem like that is...

Ray of Hope - 145th Draw - CEC

People in the FSW pool should relax. There are still only about 3700 people with scores over 470. Just a regular draw would keep the scores where they have been before.
