R u waiting for AINP nomination

Interesting. I haven't really seen any other cooks get a NOI

    January 2020 AINP NOI

You are reading it wrong. They never said everyone in the queue will get a nomination. Just that they will keep assessing everyone. Which is the first decision in who gets a NOI or not. Which means that a lot of people probably won't be invited.

I haven't found anyone. But I also haven't really found any cooks writing here either.

    Lmia exempt job offer

That is a shame. But if I have understood it correctly. My employer can do an LMIA for free, if they do it to support my PR, right? I wouldn't need the dual intent visa in the mean time, as I would just leave the country until I have pr after my current visa runs out. Is there any downside for...

    Lmia exempt job offer

What makes it so I need an lmia in that case? Because I will have worked the 12 months necessary to avoid an lmia. "you have been working full-time for the employer on your work permit for at least 1 year (or an equal amount of part-time work)" from the website of the lmia

    Lmia exempt job offer

Hi everyone. I just want to make sure I have understood the rules regarding lmia exempt job offers correctly. I currently work for a hotel on a young professional visa that is 12 months long. After these 12 months I have to leave the country. But can they then give me a job offer, when I no...

    January 2020 AINP NOI

That makes sense. I am the same way. I've only been in the pool 2 months now. And I now that very few get picked right away. But even then, every draw that I'm not picked in feels in my chest. Especially because I live in Alberta right now, and really don't want to leave in 8 months. I probably...

    January 2020 AINP NOI

I appreciate that. It is very hard to actually know how the system works. As the data we base it on is extremely limited. The minimum CRS, and people on this forum. But usually that is just about a percent or so of overall NOIs. And this forum seems to attract certain professions. I've haven't...

    January 2020 AINP NOI

I have found people with 1421 and 1221 here on the forum that have been selected. But I don't know if it had a high volume of applications. Yeah, it's hard to know if it just decreases the chances, or completely removes them. It's not like i'm on the edge with points.

    January 2020 AINP NOI

Regarding occupations that have a high application number, is it just that it takes longer to wait. Or is Alberta not nominating people with those NOCs at all? I am asking as I am a cook who has worked, and work in alberta, looking for PR to stay here. But my CRS(444) is not good enough for the...

    January 2020 AINP NOI

" The most common factors considered in AINP application processing include: application quality (completeness, eligibility, outdated application information/documents) labour market information volume of applications received the date the application was received" So time is a factor, as...

    January 2020 AINP NOI

It is not a factor in the decision. But they probably process profiles as they come in. So it takes some time. Otherwise it would mean that someone like me simply wouldn't be invited at all, as I haven't been invited. Yet I have more points than needed, prior and current work experience in Alberta.

    January 2020 AINP NOI

Well not completely. But partly. Are we sure they only draw certain professions in certain draws? I created my EE profile at the end of november. And they invite people with around 300 CRS. I wouldn't be surprised if a cook with less points than me have been nominated since I created my profile

    January 2020 AINP NOI

It feels like time is fairly relevant. I'm a cook, so even if I have way more crs than needed(444), I still have to wait as there are so many cooks applying.

AINP wait time as cook (noc 6322)

So I know that cooks have a longer wait time because so many want the alberta nomination. But do people here have any numbers, or experience, in how long that actually is?

Alberta AINP March 2019 NOI Notification of Interest

Anyone here who has applied as a cook? I know it takes longer. But I want to know how long. I have 444crs, so should be invited at some point, I hope.

Forgot police certificate for visited country in application

That makes sense. So chances are they will ask for it and not just reject me outright because I didn't write that I applied for it?

Forgot police certificate for visited country in application

That is super weird. Because on the page for my application it says I need one if I've been in a place 6 months in total. I started the application back in August

Forgot police certificate for visited country in application

In total. The longest is 5 months at one time. But I thought they changed the rule so it is in total and not in a row. I checked my application. And that's what it sais there. But I think I got confused because other places says like your link. That one isn't needed. So I missed it
