    may 2015 applicants for citizenship

Not true. There may be. Myself and others were asked about dates. There are several different versions of the tests.

Citizenship test has some mandatory questions?

    I'm a she, though. :P

Citizenship test has some mandatory questions?

No. Out of 20 questions, you need to answer 15 correctly to pass (75% of the questions). Having some of the questions being mandatory to answer correctly no longer applies and I believe it hasn't in years — it's irrelevant which ones you answer correctly, as long as 15 of the 20 questions are...

Citizenship test has some mandatory questions?

I believe it no longer applies, but years back I heard from friends who took citizenship tests back in 2007-2008 that out of those 15 questions the applicant has to get correctly, there would be some 5 questions that could not be answered incorrectly.

    RQ and health records

Chikloo, I don't think CIC would even bother asking. I had to undergo two medical examinations (the second had to take place because the first one was about to expire), and in none of the examinations (by two different physicians, one in Canada, the other one abroad; the physician abroad knew...

    RQ and health records

Hi bkhan, The health records as part of CIT 0520 (or, for those with the full RQ, CIT 0171), only require records from the province to support your claim and residence. It doesn't include pre-PR health records, only the records in the time period to help examine qualification for citizenship...

Does each candidate gets different set of questions during test?

In Vancouver they asked for people to separate regardless of whether they were family members or friends.

    Damaged passport

COPR is Confirmation of Permanent Residence, or Record of Landing as it used to be called. It's that long paper we're given at landing (IMM 1000, IMM 5292, or IMM 5688 depending when you landed).

    Damaged passport

You're visa-exempt as a UK-passport holder, you don't need a PRTD. Just travel with your passport, COPR, and documents that demonstrate you meet RO just in case. Some members have also suggested not informing the airline you're a PR in Canada otherwise they may require to see a PR Card and deny...

    It'd be May 14, though.

Then frame your questions differently. You asked if my application was approved, and it was. As I wrote (and answered what you want to know): "I did pass all the stages and clearances, and have been approved, CIC has no concerns in regards to me or my application. I only need to have my oath...

    may 2015 applicants for citizenship

Hi Bubi, I requested it one day after seeing Decision Made. If you order it this early, you probably won't see anything in regards to oath date.

But yes, I did pass all the stages and clearances, and have been approved, CIC has no concerns in regards to me or my application. I only need to have my oath scheduled now.

    may 2015 applicants for citizenship

My oath procedures have not been started yet, which I expected since the wait times in Vancouver are an average of 3-5 months (and my test was just over a month ago), although the Citizenship Officer interviewing me said 2 months (which I didn't take to heart).

    may 2015 applicants for citizenship

Mine updated on September 22nd which is when I noticed the change, but when I received ATIP (out of curiosity, there was no need for me to order it), I saw that the decision was made on the 21st. Everybody else puts the date that they noticed it, as sjakub pointed out.

Cool. I went to check the tracker today and initially I didn't understand the dark blue line until I saw the DM column that had been added. I'm gonna correct my signature, because my DM actually happened on Sept 21st, not the 22nd. My tracker information is now correct(ed), though.

Translation of non-english stamps at test

No worries. My name is Miriam, though. hehe :D I'd say translate all stamps in the passport, not just the last four years. I've never seen a stamp in Arabic, but I've read that people who don't read Arabic wouldn't know when it's from (so I'm assuming they don't write the dates like they do in...

Translation of non-english stamps at test

In my case, they did check the stamps in my passport and compared to what was declared in my residence calculator. Had the officer not been able to check any of the dates (like it often is with stamps in Arabic, with the officers not being able to read it), I believe that he would ask for a...
