Ok I contacted the CIC to get an update about the error. I was transferred to the IT department (I Believe) and the agent mentioned that they had no record of any problems. They mentioned that this is not supposed to happen unless there was a record of a problem. The agent sent me an email...

My application took 2.5 to 3 months to be transferred after Sydney has done the checks. Still routine. I don't know why. But sure there is a reason.

So no updates were on the next day?

For some reason I can't login to my ecas account. It says the information I entered in incorrect. Anyone facing this problem as well?

The CIC will know more than we do. Example: They know the date our file has been transferred and the date it was accepted by the local office (we don't have access to such info). Once I had a question in regards to my ATIP report. The CIC agent was able to pull out a copy and follow the page...
