We have similar timeline and just got an interview. Feb 23rd. GCMS usually arrive on day 31 but after that you can email a request for status. I did this and they arrived the next day.

Seems it makes sense all sponsors stay IP until spouse lands with PR? Even though approved final closure must happen with landing interview in case there is a change in circumstance? That's my guess.

Is bfd same as due date? Our due date is one year from date app was recieved. Do they always do this? I read somewhere this may change?

Rejected PRRA which was delayed by months due to clerical error so he was in the end excluded due to overstay. Long complicated story. 1 year exclusion is automatic after rejected PRRA. We had just married a week before his removal was enforced. He Left 3 weeks later.
