I'm so happy. Our process in Vienna began on September, 2. Who has similar timeline can soon expect some good news. I wish you all good luck. :D :D

Good news! Our ECAS applicant status just changed to In Process, so I'm guessing Vienna has received my husband's application. Even though I received my SA, the status still shows In Progress (I'm guessing they won't bother changing it, but no matter).

We're so excited to see Vienna processing everybody's cases relatively quickly, and hopefully we'll be part of the lucky crowd ;D

On an off-note, does anyone know how I can change my profile info to include all the timeline dates?

Should I send the application on a box or letter(will be to small)? or does'nt matter?
and which is the best way per post or others?

thanks!

the letters from family ... should they be notarized or is it enough to send a copie of the passports with the letters?

After 10 posts this option to add timeline becomes available. IP stayed on my sponsor ecas after approval also.

My CoPR has arrived!

Sent to Mississauga on June 8th, received COPR on November 11th. That's 156 days total processing, 123 of which in Vienna. Very quick and efficient, and very unexpected that all was done before the end of the year.

Congratulations!!

There are specific mailing instructions you need to follow which states envelope, unless something has changed from when I mailed it. I didn't have my letters notarized and we have been approved. It doesn't hurt if you get them notarized though :)

Does anyone know whether the vienna office close during the holidays? For a week? Just the dec 24-25 and dec 31-1 jan? Thnxx

According to an email they sent me they are closed the 25th, 28th, and 1st. If you are looking to go pick up a visa in person your passport can only be accepted mon-thurs in the morning.

They lost our police records >:(
Does anyone know a number i can call to check if maybe they just missed them, or if i need to send it again?
Thanks :'(

Congratulations Maarten! I'm a fellow Dutchie and new to this forum... was wondering if you or other Dutchies could help me with some of your ideas/insights as your Dutch case was processed pretty fast! I am currently living and working in the Netherlands, while I have a long-distance relationship with mr. S. since June 2014. We travelled back-n-forth ever since between NLs, Canada and holiday destinations.. and we just got married last week in Canada, wohoo superexciting. Now i'm back home in Netherlands and doubting where/when/how to apply for my permanent residence visa via spousal sponsorship application. We both seem to have good records for a smooth case: no police records, both good jobs, degrees, i've lived in Canada before (completed an MA-degree at a Canadian University in 2009) etc. So.. yeah.. inland... outland... I got a good job going in the Netherlands. Inland would mean i'd give up my job, leave Netherlands in April 2016, and start my application in Canada in May 2016 or so. But in your case... Vienna seems so much faster, and the idea of being able to travel in/out Canada puts me more at ease than the feeling of being 'stuck' not knowing when I can go somewhere. Plus I can start as soon as my husband and myself have received our marriage certificate... right? Would be great if I could brainstorm a bit with you, or other fellow-Dutchies on this case! Not sure how to get in touch with you on this forum though? is a pm. possible? Thanks a lot. And enjoy the good news!

I been waiting 17 months now from Vienna. Would like to know how we keep getting bumped and everyone passing by us. we are not married but proved conjugal to the letter. Sick and tired of the long wait. Today my boyfriends passport expires because of this wait time. Glad you didn't have to wait or feel like you had no hope congrats.

wow ... why is Vienna now so fast? I read a few got it done under a year!
??? do they have less Applications or do they pick some out to send them out?
I like it!
CONGRATS!

other question:
Can a german Citizen get a new Passport outside of Germany? or only personal in Germany?

:)

17? Have made enquiry or visited MP? Was there obvious reason for delay? Removal order?
Seems odd with so many approved in 6 months lately.
Painful just to read your post.
