It couldn't hurt to write a quick note to explain it.

    BOWP URGENT comment needed.

As LPS said, CIC uses templates - which makes sense because official responses or decisions should be uniform. However, when working from templates there is a chance you do not delete all the irrelevant information.

    Landing in Calgary in April

If you have an international flight (even from the US) and the first place that you will step foot in Canada is at the Calgary Airport, they will land you there.

    Traffic history report and CEC

As a fellow Queenslander I know how frustrating it is to have to do that little bit extra to get the traffic report. Luckily I did not have any offences. I can see both sides of this. From your boyfriend's perspective these offences have nothing to do with criminal culpability, they are just...

BOWP - Return to Home Country

Oh right...if you need a visa to stay in Canada normally you will still need one. Didn't think of that, us Aussies are visa exempt.

BOWP - Return to Home Country

I was on a Working Holiday visa (actually 3 consecutive ones before they changed the rules :P) before applying for PR and they work much the same way. Free to work anywhere you like or be unemployed. You don't get EI or anything like that, and you can't study. Otherwise you are free to stay in...

Is it ok to take medical test in advance?

I would wait until CIC requests you do one. I don't think it will speed up your case and you run the risk of having to do a second set of medicals if the first one expires.

BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

Mine was sent directly to my home address. No cover letter, nothing else in the envelope except the work permit itself.

Elements of a good employment reference letter

People should really take advantage of the HRSDC website (or whatever it's called now). You can ask them to determine what your NOC is. Simply describe what you do day to day in your job and they will respond with which NOC you should use. Takes all of the guesswork out of it and costs you...

Canadian experince obtained as a contractor - urgent

The first case, you were definitely self-employed and they were right to assess you that way. The second case...do you work exclusively for SI Systems on a permanent, full-time basis? You say you are also incorporated - do you do any work on the side through your own business?

Canadian experince obtained as a contractor - urgent

This makes you an employee of the Agency and NOT the actual company that you work at. So long as you make this clear in what you submit, you should be fine.
