You can, but you can't come back to Canada without the PR card.Sid87 said:Hello guys
My question is
Can i travel to my home country while waiting for PR card . I need to go for some urgent issue .
Thanks
Yes, you can use the CoPR to re-enter Canada at a land border between the US-CAN.Sid87 said:You mean the copr that i used for landing .
Yeah the officer that processed my landing told me the airlines don't accept it. He said it's really stupid, because We accept it at the border but the airlines don't. Yet they allow people that shouldn't be arriving in Canada to come, and they claim refugee status and the airline could get fined. Doesn't make any sense.iam_toby said:Yes, you can use the CoPR to re-enter Canada at a land border between the US-CAN.
You can't use the CoPR when you arrive in Canada by plane.

But now I have to wait for my pr card
That's sad
But...you'll be in Canada when you land? Are you talking about then leaving again straight away?Capricorn2012 said:Reallyyyyy ??

Yes, that's another option, if you haven't completed the landing yet.Capricorn2012 said:Makes sense
So when I come back to the airport I should do the landing
That's also not a bad idea
No, work permits and TRVs become invalid when you land as a permanent resident.Toronto2013 said:So till we receive the PR card, can we use the existing TRV ?
