Usually you don't need to make the same post in multiple threads, just have patience and someone will answer if they can.

I think it's partly because they are a very quiet embassy! It is small and there just doesn't seem to be a lot going on! I wish our application could get processed there from start to finish lol!

I agree with Majesty! You got approved, and that is reason for celebration! It will all be anecdotal one day, at least that is what we keep telling ourselves lol.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend paying someone to look over it- but perhaps having a detail-oriented, organized person cross-check what you have with the checklist, signature requirements etc. Weird things happen to our brains when we spend so much time on the same task eg. this application. I...

Ohhh, I see. Yes, common-law is a de facto status, meaning the ability to claim it relies completely on the ability to prove you lived together for a year. This is relevant to me as we applied common-law and it can be hard to prove if you don't have a joint lease, or a letter from the landlord...
