Did you get an official letter from Mexico VO for your AOR2, saying they were beginning to process your file? If so, that is interesting! We got nothing like that, just figured it was being processed when they asked for a medical exam.

Welcome to the club! I would say, based on my observations of Mexico VO: prepare for 12 months, be happy if it's less :) We are September 1 applicants.. nothing to report :)

I don't think people tend to get official AOR2s from Mexico VO. Our file changed to "we started processing.." on Dec. 6th and we took that to be our AOR2.

I'm also common-law and curious because I've been worried about not having enough evidence too! But i understood that they will always send you a pfl before refusing you.

Did they give you the chance to send in more evidence?
