My point was regarding your colour scan question: If CIC does not ask IELTS score sheet; they should not reject if its in black and white but not in colour.
Dont think thats an issue. CIC did not ask specifically for uploading IELTS score sheet with your studies document. Nor is it stated that it should be in colour.

Taking fingeprints using ink on a FBI paper sheet is the right way for Non US Permanent residents, Citizens.
I did the same and got FBI clearance.

for passport i scanned 2 pages in one.
600 DPI will increase the file size.
200 DPI worked for me; its nice & clear.
Remember that all pages have to be combined in 1 PDF document for each doucment placeholder. The size of each doucment cannot be more than 4MB.

Yes; i thought the same too. We should be fine. Just had this doubt as the CIC guidelines does not specfically talk about dual language documents. i.e native + English.
I believe that most (not all) of the documents in non english speaking countries are in dual language.
