I am scanning the documents at 600dpi is it ok?all in pdf format then will merge them together later on,and for the passport is it ok to scan 2 pages as one or no?
I dont know but i have read somewhere that resolution should be 600 times 600adanac_ati said:for passport i scanned 2 pages in one.
600 DPI will increase the file size.
200 DPI worked for me; its nice & clear.
Remember that all pages have to be combined in 1 PDF document for each doucment placeholder. The size of each doucment cannot be more than 4MB.
That's just for passport photos of you are scanning a physical copyWolverine17 said:I dont know but i have read somewhere that resolution should be 600 times 600

Mine are all 100dpi or lower.Wolverine17 said:I checked what i scanned most of them are 1.5 to 5 plus megabytes and for each complete file it should be 4mb correct??i will need to scan them all at a low resolution i guess then

My scan of my passport bio page and stamps was about 200dpi. Just make sure all your documents are legible and are under 4mb.
YesWolverine17 said:You mean the jpeg photo file right but everything else including the passport is fine at 200 or less
They didnt ask but some applicants get rejections for not uploading their ielts so better to upload themadanac_ati said:Dont think thats an issue. CIC did not ask specifically for uploading IELTS score sheet with your studies document. Nor is it stated that it should be in colour.
